Common name; Ethiopian epauletted fruit bat
The species was highly abundant in both rehabilitated and natural vegetation (unmined) areas.
Species are found from savannah to moist forest to woodland habitats. Geographically they are ranging from east to central Africa areas. The species population trend is stable. There are no direct conservation actions needed to protect the species since it occurs in several protected areas also more attention should be played to preventing the species from overharvesting which may result in a decrease in their population.
